Vinita Pappas is an award-winning artist who works and lives in rural Southern Oregon. Her fresh and loose style of painting is beloved by art enthusiasts worldwide and her artwork is held in collections internationally. She has studied under master watercolorist Alvaro Castagnet; Australian artist David Taylor; and American watercolor legends Frank Webb and Mel Stabin in her journey to develop her creative skills. Vinita’s paintings have a judicious balance of detail, light and design while capturing a delicious sense of freedom and movement that pulls the viewer in. A popular instructor, her unique online classes and workshops have attracted an international following of artists and her in-person workshops have a loyal following in the Pacific Northwest and beyond. Vinita curates and juries art exhibits in her position of gallery manager for Gallery 7, in Canyonville, Oregon; with the Umpqua Valley Art Association; and as past president, Watercolor Society of Oregon.
