RIDEOUT — THE TERRACOTTA WARRIORS: A MIRACLE IN CLAY
Over a year ago, clay artist Palul began restoring a weathered terracotta warrior from China. As a clay worker the project appealed to him. Palul researched the background of the Terracotta Army from the perspectives of both an artist and a scientist.
After over a year’s study and hands-on renovation work, he is putting his findings together for you. At the June 26th meeting he will present the Terracotta Warriors’ history and how the ancient clay craftsmen created 8000 full sized warrior sculptures, each one different.
