CLASS DESCRIPTION
Join us in exploring mood and color. Leave with a finished piece!
Create art with strong color and design like a pro. While painting we discuss elements of design that will add impact to your art. We are using watercolor & mixed media. I will outline what we will be using before each class. Be sure to sign up for email updates on www.ashdesignley.com/materials. It’s $20 at the door. There is an optional material fee of $5-10 if you need supplies.

About Ashley
She has a B.S. in Media Arts & Animation and her work focuses on visual storytelling. She has been working as a freelance artist for nearly ten years and wants to encourage others to create every day!
Visual development and backgrounds for animation are my specialty. I draw and paint realistic people, landscapes, and animals. My focus is using lighting, color, and composition to spark an emotional connection with my audience. My biggest improvements have come through working as a colorist for graphic novels. I also enjoy painting book covers because reading has always been a big part of my life. I believe in the value of hard copy books and enjoy escaping for a day to wander around a library or bookstore. I frequently travel and find endless inspiration from my adventures.
