Presentation and Photographs about the Redding Homeless Art Project by Jim Canter
Description:
The Homeless Art Project (HAP) is a California state funded program designed to provide art and writing activities for homeless people. The year-long program was funded through the Shasta Arts Council. Photographer Jim Canter took photos of the activities and over 50 portraits of the individual homeless participants. He will share these pictures and his stories about the experience at the March 19th NVAL General Meeting.
