Workshop Description
Demonstrations throughout each day of the workshop
Patterns and exercises for students to follow when appropriate
Personal attention and individual coaching
Craig’s workshop is designed to teach artists how to paint faces and figures quickly with emotion rather than a photo realistic representation more common in longer studio poses. Poses during the workshop will typically be 40 minutes working up to one hour followed by a final 3 hour pose.
Craig teaches his quick study method of painting at the Academy of Art in San Francisco. Local well-known artist and instructor, Chuck Prudhomme, has attended several of these workshops and highly recommends this quick, more instinctive form of painting.
Mediums: Oil, Acrylic, Gouache
