Judy’s Short Bio
Judy has been drawing faces for almost thirty years and calls herself a portrait sketch Artist. She is currently filming 13 episodes of portrait sketching in charcoal for SCAT TV, and next year they will appear on You Tube. She has been hired to draw charcoal portraits for the HAP (Homeless Art Project) project underway this year.
She has studied with Daniel Green, Harley Brown, Ben Konis, and Bob Gerbraught. The very first year of International Association of Pastel Societies, better known as IAPS 1987, a pastel drawing of Judy’s was selected to hang in the Sax Gallery in Denver, CO. She has entered pastel competitions throughout the United States winning multiple awards. In 2007 Judy won Best of Show at the NVAL National.
